While artificial trees don't require watering, fertilizing, or pruning like real plants, they still require regular maintenance during long-term placement and use. First, regularly clean the dust from the leaves, branches, and trunk, especially in high-traffic areas like shopping malls, hotels, and offices, where dust easily accumulates in leaf crevices and branch junctions. Use a soft, dry cloth, feather duster, or slightly damp cloth for cleaning, depending on the material. Avoid using harsh tools to prevent leaf deformation, discoloration, or surface abrasion. For artificial trees with many leaves or complex shapes, start dusting from top to bottom, paying special attention to the junctions of branches and leaves where dust easily accumulates. If the artificial tree is placed outdoors or near doors and windows, be mindful of stains from rain, mud, and air pollutants. Address any visible stains promptly to prevent them from becoming difficult to remove over time.

Regularly inspect the overall structure and placement of the artificial tree. During routine inspections, focus on ensuring the connections between branches, leaves, and the trunk are secure, checking for any loosening, tilting, or detachment. Also, check the stability of the flowerpot, base, and mounting points. If any branches are found to have shifted position, adjust the shape promptly to maintain the artificial tree's natural and aesthetically pleasing overall appearance. For artificial trees that are permanently placed, pay attention to the impact of the surrounding environment. For example, prolonged direct sunlight may cause some leaves to fade, and high temperatures and humidity may affect the lifespan of some materials. Therefore, adjust the placement appropriately based on the actual situation. After cleaning and inspection, promptly tidy up and replace any loose or damaged parts to prevent small problems from escalating. Regular cleaning, structural checks, and localized maintenance not only maintain the artificial tree's attractive appearance but also extend its lifespan and reduce the cost of later replacement and repair.
